Fall is upon us

The high today here in Krakow was 60, I think... if it was that high. Walking to the movies this evening, I noticed a familiar but peculiar scent in the air. It was the scent of leaves. You know the smell that leaves have when they begin to change colors and then fall from the trees; the smell of sugar. That smell engulfed me as I passed several of the trees and sure enough, looking around I saw a ton of leaves both on the ground and falling from the tree. It wasn't a particularly pretty tree. The leaves were just spotty brown. I'm hoping that is not a sign of the fall that I will encounter here. There are a ton of trees, many right outside my window and in my line of view. I would like to think they will burst into the flaming colors of orange, yellow and red. Here's to hoping I guess. For now though, no pictures. My memory card adapter is broken so I have to buy a new one. Hopefully that will happen soon and it won't be a huge cost.
